Refund policy

At Bombay Home Decor, customer satisfaction is important to us. We want you to feel confident shopping with us, whether you're purchasing decorative accents, furniture, home temples, or statement pieces. If something isn't right with your order, we're here to help.

1. Return Eligibility — Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for most unused items. Items must be unused, undamaged, in original condition, returned in original packaging when possible, with proof of purchase, and no signs of wear/assembly/damage. Items returned without proper packaging may not qualify for a full refund (handcrafted/delicate goods).

2. Non-Returnable Items — Custom-made/personalized items, special-order or made-to-order furniture, clearance/final sale items, items damaged from misuse or customer assembly, or items returned in non-resellable condition.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items — Notify us within 3 business days of delivery with order number, photos, and a brief explanation. Depending on the situation, we may send a replacement, offer store credit, or issue a partial/full refund. Approved damage/incorrect-item claims may include shipping reimbursement.

4. Return Shipping — Customer pays return shipping unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect. Tracked/insured shipping recommended for high-value or fragile items. Contact us before sending any return.

5. Refund Process — Refunds processed in 5–10 business days after approval, issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable except for damaged/defective/incorrect items.

6. Order Cancellations — Allowed before shipment. Once shipped or in freight prep, cancellation may not be possible.

7. Exchanges — Not guaranteed. Fastest option is to return the eligible item and place a new order.
